Kang Ling and Frederik Schandorff will race for VSR in this season’s International GT Open Championship which kicks off next week at Paul Ricard.
The VSR Lamborghini GT3 Huracan will be driven by China’s Kang Ling and Frederik Schandorff from Denmark in this year’s GT Open. Ling raced with the team last year in the Pro category and this season is also taking part in the Italian GT Endurance Championship. Schandorff comes from Super Trofeo and this season will be his first year racing GT3 machinery. The team made it’s European GT3 racing debut in 2018, winning the International GT Open Am Championship.
Vincenzo Sospiri: I’m really happy to be able to confirm that we will be continuing in the GT Open as well as running two cars in the new GT Cup Open Europe series. The GT Open is a really well-run Championship and Jesús and his team do a fantastic job creating a competitive and fair series as well as a friendly paddock atmosphere. It’s a pleasure to be racing with them again this year.
