VSR returns to Asia with new Mipox Corporation partnership
**Reigning European Champions VSR set to field Todd Kingsford and
Chris Van Der Drift in Mipox-backed Pro-Am entry**
Vincenzo Sospiri Racing (VSR) today announced its highly anticipated return to Asian motorsport, confirming an entry into the 2026 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia Championship. The campaign marks the beginning of a significant multi-year cooperation with Mipox Corporation, who will serve as the primary sponsor for the team’s Pro-Am entry which will be driven by Kingsford and Van Der Drift, with further backing from Feynlab.
Based in Forlì, Italy, and led by former World Champion Vincenzo Sospiri, VSR enters the 2026 season as the reigning European Lamborghini Super Trofeo and Italian GT champions. The team’s return to Asia signals a strategic expansion of its championship-winning program which will include running the new Lamborghini Temerario GT3 in Asia in 2027.
The Mipox-sponsored Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo Evo II will compete in the Pro-Am category in Super Trofeo Asia this year and will feature a formidable driver lineup, pairing Australian Todd Kingsford with New Zealander Chris Van Der Drift. The Feynlab backed duo return to VSR following a standout performance at the 2025 Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Finals in Misano. In their debut with the team, Kingsford and Van Der Drift showcased their pace, narrowly missing out on the Pro-Am World Title - a performance they will look to build upon as they tackle the full Asian season.

The 2026 season kicks off in April at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia, the first stop in a calendar that will see VSR and Mipox compete across the continent’s most iconic racing venues.
