VSR doubles up in Super Trofeo Asia return with second entry for Wisniewski and Sceats

**Reigning European Champions VSR will field a Pro car alongside the already confirmed Pro-Am entry of Todd Kingsford and Chris Van Der Drift**

Following last month’s announcement of their Pro-Am title contenders, Vincenzo Sospiri Racing (VSR) is proud to confirm a second Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo Evo II entry for the 2026 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia Championship. Competing in the prestigious Pro class, the number 6 Huracán will be driven by Liam Sceats and Gustaw Wisniewski.

Polish driver Gustaw Wisniewski joins VSR after establishing himself as a front-runner during the 2025 European Super Trofeo season. He will share the team’s second entry with New Zealand’s Liam Sceats, a highly-rated rookie making his transition to GT racing after success in single-seaters.

VSR’s expansion marks a significant commitment to the Asian market and Team Principal Vincenzo Sospiri views this season as a crucial building block for the team’s long-term roadmap.

"I am very proud to see VSR making such a strong return to Asia with two highly competitive cars," said Vincenzo Sospiri. " This program is not just about winning today; it’s about looking toward the future. We are already laying the groundwork for 2027, when the team will bring the new Lamborghini Temerario GT3 to Asia."

The 2026 season officially gets underway at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia later this month.
