2026 Italian GT Sprint Championship
VSR scales up to four-car Entry for Italian GT Sprint rounds at Mugello and Monza
Vincenzo Sospiri Racing today announced an extra entry for two rounds of the 2026 Italian GT Sprint Championship, adding a fourth Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo II for the Mugello and Monza races.
The number 6 Lamborghini will feature an exciting new driver pairing with Brit Hugo Cook joining forces with Ireland’s Alex Denning.
Hugo Cook arrives in the Sprint series after establishing himself as one of the front runners in British GT and winning Lamborghini’s Young driver Programme Shoot last season. Cook will also compete with VSR in selected rounds of the Italian GT Endurance Championship. Sharing the cockpit with him is Alex Denning, who has already shown a fine turn of speed in Lamborghini Super Trofeo and this year steps up to GT3.
